Study, practice and experimentation
Karen McPherson began selling Indian ink drawings when she was twelve years old, and by the time she’d turned fifteen, was creating oil paintings. By her mid-20s, her work was represented in galleries across Canada.
Since then, she has continued to study, practice and experiment with various media and subject matter. She has sought to create art at every opportunity, whether paining upon canvas, paper or (on several occasions) even paddles (for a Sudbury Theater fundraiser).
Her work has been sold by galleries across Canada and bought by people around the world.
